Singapore Night Tour - PM - 3½ hours

Singapore Night Safari - PM - 3½ hours

Go to Top!Most animals are nocturnal. At dusk they begin to stir for the hunt. At the Singapore Zoo these activities are captured to best effect using subtle lighting which permits us to watch up close whilst not disturbing the animals. The Singapore Zoo houses over 1200 animals from 110 exotic species. Tigers, striped hyena, Cape buffalo, golden jackal, blue sheep and the rare greater one horned rhinoceros are but some of the animals you will see. The Night Safari covers an area of 40 hectares of secondary jungle with the Seletar Reservoir providing a beautiful backdrop. A tram ride upon arrival at the Zoo is the easiest way to familiarize you with the large grounds. Feel free to stroll and take a closer look at the animals. The sounds of crickets and owls and the chance to see the tigers or hyenas feasting make for a truly memorable experience.

Singapore Chinatown Walking Experience - AM/PM - 3½ hours

Go to Top!The tour begins at the Thian Hock Keng Temple, Singapore's oldest and most famous temple. This ornate temple was complete in 1842 on the site of former loss house set up in 1821. Leaving the temple, proceed on to Ann Seng Hill and Club Street, where the design of the building and shop house is known as Chinese baroque - a confluence of Chinese and Malay and European influences. Moving on the South Bridge Road, you will see Mariamman Temple, built in 1827 and declared a national monument in 1973. (Oldest Temple built in Singapore) in the heart of Chinatown, marked by pagoda. The tour ends in a teahouse where the rich old Chinese used to while away a lazy morning. Here guest rest on sift cushion and experience first hand traditional Chinese tea brewing. A wide variety of Chinese teas may be sampled in traditional tiny cups.
